Mr. Shatz supervises and manages all third party claims and litigation for the Bay Area Rapid Transit District and other self insured accounts. He has over twenty years of claims experience, primarily in the investigation and adjustment of automobile, general liability and product liability claims. He has specific expertise in handling trucking and charter bus losses as well as public entity matters. Mr. Shatz also does pre-trial investigation for several prominent legal defense firms.

 

Ms. Clemena has been with Pearce & Frankman since 1990. As Business Manager, she is responsible for management of the office operations, supervision of administrative staff and oversees preparation of statistical reporting, claims processing and maintenance of trust fund for TPA clients. Ms. Clemena has over 25 years of accounting and administrative experience and is very knowledgeable of dozens of software programs utilized daily for data management, accounting and invoicing. She regularly enrolls in evening classes to stay current with latest trends. Ms. Clemena is fluent in Tagalog.

 

Ms. Aguilar has worked in the insurance industry for over thirteen years. She has handled general liability, automobile liability and physical damage cases. She has specific expertise in handling trucking charter bus losses and extensive experience handling public entity claims as well. Ms. Aguilar comes to us after a long career with the California State Automobile Association.

 

Mr. Predovic has worked in the insurance industry for over twelve years. He is an experienced multi-line adjuster, who has handled general liability, automotive liability and physical damage cases. In addition, he has extensive experience in the area of homeowner and workers compensation claims as well as auto physical damage appraisal. Mr. Predovic has worked in the Special Investigations Unit for the California State Automobile Association and McGraw Insurance Co.

 

Mr. Griffith brings over thirty years of adjusting experience to Pearce & Frankman, Inc. His background includes an emphasis on large exposure casualty and liability claims that he has worked on both a national and international level. Mr. Griffith has handled claims ranging from medical and professional malpractice claims to third party heavy equipment claims including cranes, scaffolding and aerial lifts. He has also handled construction defect and product liability claims. He has performed AOE/COE investigations and has represented numerous clients at mediations and settlement conferences.

 

Mr. Boyd has been in the insurance claims profession for thirty five years. He has extensive experience handling personal lines and major commercial property claims and is certified to handle earthquake claims in California. He has also served as a staff adjuster for sixteen years prior to becoming an independent. He has experience in handling commercial transportation and general liability losses as well. Mr. Boyd's knowledge as a general adjuster with an emphasis on commercial property claims has seen him testify in the past as an expert witness.

 

Mr. Leaverton has spent over thirteen years in the insurance adjusting field working on company as well as independent level. He is an experienced multi-line adjuster, who has handled commercial property, homeowners, general liability, casualty and special investigations. He also handled construction defect, product liability and litigated claims. Mr. Leaverton comes to us with extensive experience with CNA Insurance Companies.

 

Mr. Smith has over nineteen years experience adjusting claims in California. He is an experienced multi-line adjuster, who has handled commercial property, homeowners, general liability, auto physical damage and liability, subrosa, workers compensation, product liability, trucking and cargo losses. Mr. Smith currently covers our Sacramento service area.
